The last act of this film really works like gangbusters, and there are other moments throughout that really payoff wonderfully, but there is a whole lot of “...wait what?” thrown in. I’m not sure anyone outside of Debicki gets a coherent arc (and even that is a bit hack), so I completely understand how this might not work at all for some. However, what Nolan does manage to pull off I’ve never seen before and can barely comprehend how he could conceive and execute in the first place. You have it to give him that. 

...also the suits really are great.
