a heartbreaking narrative —revealed across incomplete and subjective retellings— of innocent tenderness and the way companionship, affection, shame, and the sting of rejection so often exist along a shared spectrum. i’m haunted, peeled apart and aching in a way i haven’t felt from a film in a while, leaving the theater suspended between reality and reverie.

incredibly intimate depiction of tenderness and yearning often mistaken as angst. the longer i let this sit within me, the better it gets. no more words, only so many feelings <3 i absolutely fucking adore this

i'm not sure where to start to i'll just say this: when you're making your way through a film and you realize that there's a piece of you waiting to be found in between the scenes, it is truly thrilling
i look forward to returning to this film someday soon, but for now, seeing it in the afternoon and being swept away when i felt especially like a stranger in my own skin, was really needed
