Day 23 of Pride Month!!

This was perfection.

I had high expectations, and this film exceeded them. 
The quiet. The poetry. Orpheus and Eurydice and the symbolism are yOU KIDDING!? The cinematography. It even looks like a painting at times!! The intimacy. The YEARNING. The lack and then sudden use of music. I love painting. 
The concept of painting someone while simultaneously falling in love! Getting the chance to study their features and love every single thing about them 🥺🥺🥺 while they also fall for you and appreciate you and you work together to make an authentic portrait  imcryin😭
This is such a beautiful story and it’s executed to perfection.

It’s simply exquisite. I will probably add more on to this as I remember things, but currently my brain is yearning and emotionally unstable and unable to do anything else.
