Speechless.

But if I must speak, this is seriously one of the most epic movies I’ve ever seen. Really highlights Miyazaki as a great film director rather than animator (not to detract at all from the animation because of course) but in this movie I got so much more of a sense of blocking and editing and more traditionally cinematic storytelling than we’re used to with Miyazaki. It’s all pretty stunning. Hayao really hit the nail on the head for how a wolf girl acts.

Saw this at IFC center (the sound design is next level and sharp as a blade!)
