Limbo might be one of the most under-appreciated films i have ever come across. A murder thriller set in one of the most deprived and bleak areas i think i may have ever seen in film. I love it when films have a setting that feel like it's own character, it really helps create extra tension and raise the stakes and this film does exactly that.

I just cannot praise the production team and visual crew enough for this film.…

What a film. Nope is very much about spectacle and how it’s human nature to dramatise every situation around us. We see this as our characters are obsessed with the “Oprah shot” or the “impossible shot” as they know being the first to capture the events on camera could change their lives forever. I thought it was really cool how looking away was the one thing you could save you from this alien (shout out to the designers btw because JeanJacket…

This was everything I wanted and more, the atmosphere was gripping, it had me on the edge of my seat and they did it all without using cheap jump scares repeatedly. Korean Horror is the gift that keeps on giving.

Similar to the Netflix documentary released earlier in the year, Dominik has managed to make another sensationalist look at Marilyn’s life. Blonde just comes across as another Marilyn exploitation film, which is ironic considering the films “subject matter”.

Sure from a technical standpoint it’s actually decent, it’s well shot, the score is solid and for the most part it’s really well acted. Obviously Ana De Armas steals the show, you can tell she poured her soul into this role of…

Any film that has me coming out of the cinema instantly wanting to read the source material is top tier in my eyes, i was glued to the screen, grasping at everything this film had to offer.

A sprawling sci-fi epic with scope and ambition like no other film i've seen in 2021 so far. The cast is excellent, i enjoyed a brooding Timothee Chalamet as Paul and Rebecca Ferguson and Oscar Isaac are also stand outs here.

    The technical…
