Letterboxd — Your life in film

So let me just get this straight.. this film is about a couple of white douchebags filming Amazon tribes, portraying them as violent cannibals for a documentary to shock the public, filmed and directed by white douchebags to portray them as violent cannibals for a movie to shock and gross out the public? What I hate most about it is that it was actually filmed very well and probably is a film with the most accurate title.

I was really hoping to just fall asleep but I didn’t and that means I watched this until the end

Love the references to Jaws and Goodfellas but overall just crap

So many people told me to watch it, so many people claim this is a masterpiece.
I don’t buy it at all. 

It’s visually so boring and tiring, acting especially Brad Pitt‘s is so over the top. Maybe I just didn’t get the story but for me it felt like a total waste of time, the ending was good though.

Expected it to be worse tbh
