Melissa’s review published on Letterboxd:
My local theatre showed "Groundhog Day" on the big screen, so I went to go see it, even though I own it on DVD. I'm really glad that I did. I hadn't seen it in a really long time. I always dread seeing it, because I feel like it's going to be painful. (Not because of the quality of the movie, but because of Phil's journey.) Which it is. And yet.
There was a lot of laugh out loud moments for me. It’s quite something. This movie is not easy to watch, but a magnum opus. So much happens. This movie is sexy, funny, and romantic to me. There are parts of this movie that are exactly my idea of romance.
