throughout the first half hour or so of this movie i really disliked it. i was considering watching something else. i thought the dialogue was bad but at times it was super witty and clever (either it got better or i got used to it). all the characters, excluding the two leads, were v annoying. however, the humor in this is great lmao. i slowly started liking it more, easing up to it. the composition, the symmetry, and the camera work was amazing. what i enjoyed a lot was the concept they were working w and how difficult it is to understand it, accept it, and then make it work. no one wants to resort to the idea that you may end up alone in life. it’s comforting but also awakening.
& i’m not gay but this movie made me cry.
