Film cred: I walked down the aisle to Beethovenia from a clockwork orange.
The first time I watched this movie it didn’t really make an impact but every now and a gain, I would think back on it. I would think back on the pizza store owner and his complacency. His lack of standing up for those kids he knew to be good kids. It’s such a loud cymbal crash when you finally figure out this movie. I’m sure if you were to watch it today, you’d get it right away. It’s very timely now. It transcends any specific time unfortunately because this shit is still happening.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I liked it and I would have given it more stars but it was super rude by vilifying satanists. Also they really missed the mark casting a beautiful blonde white lady for the role that’s supposed to symbolize taking down the elite. Fuck that! You know what? I’ve talked myself into giving it less stars now.
Like I know Tarantino takes liberties with history, but can I say I was still not expecting the story to go where it went. Like I was legit surprised, I loved it, I loved hating some these characters and that’s super hard for me to do bc usually I can’t with anti-heroes.
