All Is Lost ★★★★

A major fan as I am of films about the open water, this film did not dissappoint. What the incredibly talented Redford went through on the open ocean is my greatest nightmare.
The film, with no dialogue and just one man, keeps you on the edge of your seat for the full 100 minutes. That's quite an achievement. Love the images of the storm, the ocean and the creatures underneath the water.
The ending divides the viewers, bit I think it's very strong and can be filled in both literally and symbolically.
