Oof, the hard third one. I thought the first two movies were so good because of the fact that they weren't boxing movies. They were about a very sweet dude from Philadelphia who happens to be a great fighter. But it's the humane part that's so good about them. Real emotions, real struggles.
The third movie is about fighting Mr. T. Twice. Period. Oh, and a stupid sequence with Hulk fucking Hogan. Make no mistake, it is a damn fine movie, but it's not what made the first two Rocky films so amazing. The boxing scenes are tremendous though, as always. On the edge of your seat stuff.
