I saw this film somewhere in the late eighties, early nineties. I was young. And the opening scene, with the milk and the coffee machine always stayed with me. Now I finally rewatched (the beautiful remastered blu-ray) and yeah, it is a very solid flick. Pretty scary at times and am exciting story with voodoo, beautiful eighties New York and a great Martin Sheen. I must say that the film drags a bit too much and there is never a big surprise or twist. But I can live with that. Still very watchable.
