Read the book by Charlotte Roche in a couple of days and thought it was kinda funny and sorta okay, but entertaining enough to finish. Was curious about the film, but now I have to say that the film is better than the book. It's more humane and Helen is a more sympathetic character that in the book. The book tries too hard to be shocking and controversial, whereas the film is a cool love story and a coming of age drama. Great part by Carla Juri by the way.
