Watched it with the first one back to back. Fun kind of sexy home alone with demons thing. I'd watch at least 5 of these movies if it were a larger franchise

The Daytrippers 1996
Loved the fashion. I already like most people had a crush on Parker Posey. But Hope Davis now too. Rita Malone was hilarious. Ah. So good.

The Report 2019
At times a throwback to 70s political thrillers. But mostly just infuriating to be reminded of all of this again. There are no repercussions for the evil in america, only those who expose evil. I like that it condemned the obama administration as well as the bush. All of them should be in jail.

Stay Hungry 1976
70s Bbs films are like catnip for me. The part where body builders take over Birmingham using the power of body building is truly beautiful and in the spirit of Flex Mentallo but more pure.

The Last Detail 1973
I love the vibe of this era of American filmmaking. And I love young grouchy Jack Nicholson. All the best grumpy faces. Also those hot dogs looked tasty to me

Long Day's Journey Into Night 2018
The tracking shot was sort of distracting in that several times I was thinking more about how they did something than that it happened. But overall, poetic and dreamy. Would have been cool to see it in 3D.

The Forest of Love 2019
A soup of things you've come to expect in a Sion Sono film, which for me was enough. Not as good as Antiporno. Probably on par with something like Guilty of Romance. Strong work. Wild to see it on netflix
