Fair Play 2023
A great movie to watch if you’ve ever been a woman with a successful career, if you’ve ever worked with men, or if you’ve ever dated cishet men. All three? Buckle up because you know how this one goes! Overall slow to get to the point, but in the same insidious way that narcissistic babymen leach poison into everything they touch. Without spoiling anything, I will say that the ending was… satisfying.

Hellbender 2021
A 100% accurate* depiction of the relationship between single mothers and only-child teenage daughters. What the film lacks in budget it makes up for in elegantly simple cinematography and authentic performances.
(* if you happen to be descended from a long line of witches with supernatural powers. Mortal women raised in a similar situation/environment will still find plenty to relate to.)
