A brief list of films that feature or explore Lovecraftian elements, that feature no recognizable divine presence, such as a god in the universe, and in which humans are particularly insignificant in the larger scheme of intergalactic existence. Many films may feature a prominent theme of humanity's fear of their insignificance in the face of an incomprehensibly large universe; a fear of the cosmic void. These films may ultimately leave the viewer questioning their significance on a universal scale.
