Logan ★★★½

Let me start by mentioning that I'm not an X-Men connoisseur. Superhero teams are of less interest to me than individual superheroes, such as Batman and Spiderman.

Having said this, I did like Logan, because it involves a lonely, messed-up Wolverine, who's taking care of a fragile, old Professor X. I've always got a soft spot for tormented souls with broken lives, and Logan is all about that.

The action scenes were satisfying, but I also enjoyed the serene, human moments in between the action scenes, and I like the fact that the oppression of mutants is an obvious metaphor for real-life discrimination against minorities.
