Nothing like a teacher scheduling detention as a field trip, at a haunted farm, with a killer scarecrow, to get materials for the Annual Scarecrow Festival . I suppose it’s a good way to weed out all the bad kids every once in a while.

Although this film is devoid of humor, sensible plot, or any likeable characters...
For a SyFy movie...I’ve seen much worse.
And all the asshole characters do meet their makers in untimely fashions which is a good thing.
Not a glowing endorsement but it’s still a barely passable time waster.

    Saved the best for last.

Totally off the rails and batshit crazy movie within a movie was a great way to end the marathon. To give too much away would be a crime, but it is completely awesome and out of control.

       "No, just death...isn't that enough?”

Couldn't stop grinning throughout the entire film even though I've seen it dozens of times since the first time I saw it in the theaters in 1985. An all time classic with one of the perfect ensembles of all time.  Definitely in my top 5 comedies ever made.
