I didn't need this kind of emotional gut punch today. I really didn't.
Babyteeth delivers on many fronts, such as character development and the general plot that gives an intimate insight into a terrible situation. It has beautifully simple cinematography especially that scene where Milla sits in the dark, with a single light source. It was beautiful and terrible at the same time.
But Babyteeth also has a strange timeline and the main romance was a bit confusing for me. Toby Wallace was great as Moses but I just wasn't a huge fan of his character in general.
Eliza Scanlen as Milla was great. Also it's quite ironic that this is the second time she has made me cry this year. Please, Eliza, stop doing this to me.
