I picked 6 actors and 6 actresses, then assigned one for each month of the year. Then I randomly picked movies I hadn't seen from all 12 actors/actresses filmography (the contenders) and ended up with 3 movies for each month.

Then every month in 2020 I watched that certain set of three movies and tried to find a hidden gem. The idea was to knock off movies I might have never watched otherwise. I set it up as a challenge based on actors and actresses I liked because it seemed more fun that way.

Anyway, the main idea was to award one or more of these 36 movies with that hidden gem title.
