Last Night in Soho 2021
Per usual, an expertly crafted genre dissection from Wright. While being a departure from his usual cheekiness, it certainly was a risk, but a risk I would say pays off handsomely. I could rewatch that first hour till I was sick, it is absolute candy. While the rest of the movie may not be as much "fun" as its beginning, its Giallo style and its idea of overdosing on nostalgia are pitch-perfect for the cinema landscape we live in now.…
