Started crying within the first 10 seconds and didn't stop until an hour after. I blame whoever put in the slow motion melancholy edit of the whole cast hugging in the last 15 minutes though. I then thought it would be a good idea to rewatch 'Simply the best' once I finished. It wasn't.
Also, fat shoutout to Dan Levy who not only created a TV show which stood for love and inclusivity, but also created complex and independent female characters. Especially in the instance of Alexis, it would have been so easy to leave her arc undeveloped and superficial, but her journey of growth throughout the entire show created one of the most authentic and real female roles I've seen in TV. And I want to thank Dan (and Annie my absolute queen) for making that happen.
