what i’d give to go back in time and tell the writers about my dream last night that was an entire subplot of this film featuring a lot of women, the music video of the century with Curt Wild in one of those Marie Antoinette dresses

ALANA HAIM was the highlight of this film ,i loved her acting so much, her face is beautifully expressive and i got so much outfit envy
plot-wise its a bit of an odd one and it felt slightly lacking,i was expecting something a bit more like almost famous.
the use of “life on mars”was strangely emotional paired with so many beautiful shots  and the entire film was so perfectly  70s
ALSO  side note but i really like the poster
but overall watching this will probably cause you to fall in love with Alana Haim

its a shame Sam’s plot line wasn’t developed more,id have listened to a whole hour and 42 minutes of him playing. there was definitely something special about the lighting and how it would light up Ilsa’s face so that she sparkled.I like this movie more as i think about it.Some iconic lines and i have to admit-it was quite romantic. The national athem scene gave me GOOSEBUMPS too
i also watched this at BFI-a big screen definitely helps
