You know why this movie gets such a bad rap? Because no one wants to admit that it's our current reality. Sure, it's a little exaggerated, but it's a fucking comedy. The movie isn't perfect by any means, but it's genuine a good time and funny. I like that this movie has something to say, unlike most movies now.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, the last third of the movie kind of ruins it. But you should still really give this movie a watch. I guarantee you'll laugh and maybe you'll even get something out of it, regardless of how cinematic and profound this movie is.

I am not exaggerating in the slightest. This is basically just a 60 Minute music video of, quote on quote, "popular" Country singers. Little snippets of a barely coherent story slide its way in between each musical performance, and right when you think it could be going somewhere, it cuts back to another musical performance. Jim Carrey does impressions during the 15 minutes of story this movie actually has, all of which I don't recognize. So, yeah, even if you're curious about a young Jim Carrey... Just don't, man.

Wow. Very rarely am I at a loss for words after watching a movie. I've never had so many chills and my jaw dropped so many times. It takes awhile to get to what I was wanting the most, but it had a huge payoff. It has my favorite scene of the entire year, by a long shot. I feel like I have a lot to say but I don't know how to say it all. It's the best movie of the year, but it's not my favorite, if that makes any sense.

This was fine. It had some funny quips here and there, but why is it that movies animated 15 years ago look better than this?
