Michael Vazquez’s review published on Letterboxd:
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. 22 Jump Street is exactly the same movie as the first and there's nothing wrong with that at all as I loved the first except that this one was funnier and just as clever.
Tatum and Hill are brilliant together once again. They are like peanut butter and jelly, it's like they're meant for each other in these roles. Ice Cube is funnier here than in the original only because he has more screen time this time around.
Lord & Miller are a fantastic duo, they are quickly becoming some of my favorite duo directors working today (joining with the Coens, Farrelly's & Wachowskis'). 22 Jump Street is one of the best comedies of the year and is in contention with Neghbors & A Haunted House 2 for the funniest movie i've seen this year.
