Michael Cook’s review published on Letterboxd:
Well certainly not what I expected.
Atlantic’s feels ethereal, something you truly don’t experience from films too often. You truly get that feeling of love that transcends our human capabilities, an emotion that can only be transcribed through the avenue of film. It takes a while for it all to come together, obscuring the truth for over half the movie. However, when everything begins to come together, my god what a payoff.
Moments that seemed completely pointless, such as a drive back from work, static shots of the ocean and the sun setting and rising all come together to create a powerful conclusion of true love finally realized.
