The film managed to balance the storytelling and the musical in a way that's engaging. I seriously loved the choreography and the songs. I kinda wished that they would cast someone younger that resembles Hugh Jackman playing younger Barnum but either way I ain't complaning.
This has to be the most emotional and heart-warming movie I've seen in a while. It's extremely well written and the casts were amazing. I was fully invested during the film which literally has no dull moment or character. I expected it to be a tragic story since I've heard a lot of people weeped. I'm glad that I was wrong because I teared over something that's much more beautiful and powerful.
The movie feels like a mix of Home Alone and Scream Queens. I was entertained and horrified at the same time. The story is extremely well written and I loved how none of scenes felt like fillers and they actually have purpose to contribute to the plot-line. The actors, especially the kid protagonist, did a splendid job with the acting.
