This is a unique five-star rating, as it does not espouse the artistic value that other films do which I have given five stars. But, to culminate a 20+ film saga in the way they did is impressive. Very ambitious, considerate of fans, and enjoyable. They somehow put it all together in a nice way, and nothing like this ever will, or should, be done again.
Tenet is defying normal conventions of basically everything it touches. The opening, which is a mission held in an opera house, demonstrates this perfectly. The orchestra, as they begin tuning to play an overture, are interrupted by gun shots. And so it is with Tenet. Such a simple way to show what this film is.
