    If you loved this film and are new to older films, may I please introduce you to the films of Douglas Sirk immediately??

    Todd Haynes and Julianne Moore back together for a film is like some cosmic β€œall is right in the universe” magic. (And if you have not watched SAFE, go do so asap. My favorite Todd Haynes.)

    Special shout out to Charles Melton for getting out of Riverdale and having this be his next move, what a leap.

    A movie that so perfectly highlights the way we remember people of the past - fragmented, non-linear, hazy, dreamlike, distant and yet so close you could touch and feel them all at once. Paul Mescal is so staggeringly good in this I had tears in my eyes at the end.
