Setsuko Hara is one of cinema's greatest treasures, and don't try to convince me otherwise.
Solid popcorn summer fun movie. I only wish there were human characters in the film that made me care at all about their fate or storyline for the majority of the narrative. Plot holes abound that nagged at me throughout the movie with poor payoff or explanation.
I guess I would just like to see what Gareth Edwards is capable of without borrowing so heavily from Jurassic Park or Jaws, tropes. Give me something with a bit more personality here.…
