I'm pretty sure Hanks is the only man alive in this time and any other that could have pulled off this performance. He's just simply perfect in this movie as Fred Roger's. Heartwarming and emotional, this film will have your eyes well up with tears, both happy and sad ones, for the entire 109 minute runtime. Some strange direction choices in the 2nd act keep this from greatness, but this is honestly just a wonderful film that everyone should see.

Sure, it's cool to hate on this movie right now, but I honestly believe with time and a little bit of perspective, this might hold up as a horror film that's not all that terrible. The story is a little uneven, the dialogue is borderline cringey, and the style feels ripped straight out of an early 2000s horror film, but the mystery is just interesting enough to get invested in and enjoy. Even if it is the most basic B level of enjoyment.

A decent horror film and take on a classic fairy tale. Great atmosphere and some legitimately creepy moments, but takes itself way too seriously as an A24 type.

I was hoping for fun bad, but ended up getting boring, insufferably bland bad. There are decent horror elements sprinkled in and the cast is great, but a nonsensical story and poor dialogue keep that from amounting to much. The first big dumpster fire of the year, that lives up to the reputation of the January release
