Warren Gilbert’s review published on Letterboxd:
Probably not as bad as its reputation, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is a movie that's probably going to continue aging poorly unless early 2000's CGI somehow becomes charming at some point. The effects here looks fake and cartoony, and the one used for impact during combat scenes is really distracting. It's partly why these films don't have the appeal of the earlier entries in the series, but it also doesn't help that Sarah Connor is replaced by some pretty bland and uninteresting characters. The attempts at humour also struggle to hit for the most part. Kristanna Loken is a solid Terminator here and really has the whole robotic thing down, but as with every entry after Judgement Day she will be compared to Robert Patrick and doesn't quite match up to him. Certainly not a must watch here, but worth checking out for fans of the series.
