The main idea of 'spreading the fear of death' is cool but the film mostly is just a bunch of boring conversations between boring characters played by actors giving bad performances. It also just looks and feels and sounds super cheap and low budget and not in a good way. With a bit more style and some tension/atmosphere this could've been kind of cool regardless but it lacks that too.

Had low expectations for an Aussie 'ouija board style' horror, which is the impression I got from the plot summary. But this was a solid film. The creepiness and scares are well balanced with a genuine sense of dread and sadness. I was invested in all the characters and their relationships. Consists of Alexandre dribbling nonsense, then Veronika interrupting to talk about how much she loves having sex. Then Alexandre dribbles some more nonsense, and then Veronika interrupts to to talk about how much she loves sex. This continues for almost 4 hours. It's not interesting to watch, nor intelligent or profound in any way, but it sure thinks it is.
