Okay, this movie messed me up.
It's not necessarily a fun movie, but it's a moving and important movie. A meditation on logic vs emotion vs faith. Intertwines a meta take on film itself through a non-apparent method. It's hypnotizing and demands your attention.
Plays like a more physiological 'Annihilation' without the action or violence - but plenty of suspense through its slow pacing.
It's literally just 3 semi-bitter old men arguing over their beliefs as they walk through a radiated landscape, but it's so much more than that. Just like the Zone in the film itself, you enter and exit this film a different person, and arguably, it brings your subconscious desires to the forefront.
