    Incredibly minimalistic for all of its celestial overgrowth and heady idealism. I think it’s ultimately about coming to terms with defeat. How to not blame yourself, how to learn to let go of the misery that comes with being part of such a doomed species (characters literally transform into new life forms while stating they’re not fighting or facing their fate).
