Unbreakable ★★★

While having the emotional insight of a dull ten year old, this works as a pretty genius psychoanalysis of the superhero genre. In the end, we all want to be scolded by dad Bruce Willis ("You are about to be in BIG trouble!!") ("I'm your FATHER!!!!!!!")("I'm going to leave and it's your fault!!") (omg that gun scene is so dense), and I guess we have fantasies about supernatural vigilante-cop surveillance mechanisms??? Many reasons to like this, but largely constructed for dads with masculinity problems.

Anyhow, quite interesting.
