Mikey Brzezinski’s review published on Letterboxd:
Knight of Cups is by far Malick's most cryptic film but once you unfold the many challenging aspects on the surface, it soon becomes his most touching. This is Malick coming in touch with the ways that modern society works. This film is many things but it's ultimately a journey, a journey to unlock something deeper within ourselves, a journey to understand our own suffering, and a journey to get past the materialism that eats away our culture every day. It's so clean, crisp, and polished that it's so hard not to get totally swept up into Rick's "world" as he discovers the ones that lie around him that he never realized. I'm now officially totally ready to get fucked up by Song to Song.
