stylish, messy, and non-stop which is exactly what i was hoping for.

This is some pretty serviceable military propaganda thanks to some serious gay energy and wait…does Maverick start World War 3 at the end????

  • Men

    Men

    ★★★

(According to the majority of A24’s catalogue people can’t go through traumatic loss without losing their fucking mind)

Alex Garland’s effort at analyzing the effects of toxic masculinity on woman is a bit too surface level and rushed, but some tense moments and off-kilter body horror make for a serviceable folk horror tale.

most 6/10 movie ive ever seen

  • Moon Knight

    Moon Knight

    ★★★

Moon Knight shows some promise in its performances, fight scenes, and occasionally dreamlike visuals, but it’s lows overshadow it’s high’s with poor pacing, an under-explored villain, and a finale that couldn’t be more generic.

    6/10

(I couldn’t be more bummed out that I wasn’t insanely into this series)

  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

    ★★★½

Multiverse of Madness works best when it allows
director Sam Raimi to bring his distinctive style to
it, so it's a shame that the first half feels like a
rushed and uninspired exposition dump for those
already acquainted with the MCU to have their
"ah ha!" moments and those unacquainted to feel
sort of brought up to speed.
