Ironically, this was the movie I chose to fall asleep to.

One of the most upsetting films ever made. This was my first re-watch since an initial viewing in my high school social studies class. Something about the invasion of Ukraine brought it back to the forefront of my mind…

My star rating is temporary because I’m an old man and fell asleep before the end, but I’ll finish this tonight. Unless the last half is drastically different than the first, then I can’t see much changing. I like most of Wes’ films. This is one of them.

Cage is giving it his all, but the film is an obvious tax shelter for foreign investors and not much more than that.

Not for me.

Completely forgettable, but charming in moments. Tom Holland presents himself as an adult about as well as Lindsey Lohan does in Just My Luck.

It was nice to see a new cast run through a fairly standard Scream plot, but the lead actress was bland and got upstaged by everyone she shared a scene with. Also, 2 hours is 30 minutes too long for any of these movies.

In summation, I hope they make a new entry every 2-3 years.

Verhoveen rules.

The cast is solid, the production design is actually pretty great (until it descends into generic corridors), but the scares suck and the one job of this movie was to spook audiences with a creepy nun.
