Fight Club

Fight Club ★★★★★

Happy Birthday David Fincher

Tyler Durden: The things you own end up owning you.

When I watched the movie for the first time my mouth was open and mind was not my mind and I don't know where I was.

Edward Norton who has Insomnia, Job of testing and reporting accidental cars, owning everything that has been in magazine, control freak with neatness, wants to sleep. Goes to support groups where he cries and sleeps but Marla arrives and his world starts to enter a chaos which he don't know.

Tyler Durden: It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.

He meets Tyler on a plane, both have same bags. Edwards luggage is stopped because of a vibration. His apartment blows up. He calls Tyler. meets at a bar, start to talks. Tyler giving some knowledge. Who is consumer etc. Tyler asks him to come live at his home.

Narrator: This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time.

Edward starts to realize that his old life is nothing but bullshit. One day in the ally Tyler and Edward start to fight and slowly, slowly people start to join them and in some time Fight Club is invented.

Tyler Durden: Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

Fight Club is an idea that is keeping some men relaxed and away from their real life. They are pissed off on the people who they work for, they are pissed off of their life itself. Fight Club is like a revolution to them. There are projects given by Tyler and Edward and they do it. And yes there are rules to the Fight Club.

Tyler Durden: Welcome to Fight Club. The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club! Third rule of Fight Club: someone yells "stop!", goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule: one fight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: No shirts, no shoes. Seventh rule: fights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.

Tyler Durden: You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.

Tyler Fucks Marla and Edward pisses off Marla. They also do assignment together, smash a car. Black mail Edwards boss. Stealing fat for making soap. But with this a new movement starts 'Project Mayhem'

Narrator: On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.

Tyler Durden: Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

Project Mayhem also keeps Edward away. And after sometime Tyler vanishes from his world with living a project which has been neatly organized.

Edward starts to find Tyler and stop Project Mayhem but it is all useless and after traveling to the places where Tyler went he gets to the point that he himself is Tyler and now his world starts to collide.

Tyler Durden: Self improvement is masturbation. Now self destruction...

This movie is chaos, fun and a reminder to take control of your life.

David Fincher who closely and destructively tell us to fuck off.

Brad Pitt he is like a Greek God gone rogue in here. This is best performance. He is like the person of himself. He is just AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

So, now all the credit just dropped to zero.
