Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
It's good, but it's not as good as Into.
The main thing to say about this film is that it's bloated and unstructured. Compared to the immaculate structure of Into, this suffers from being a two-parter and being clumsily constructed. Major plot elements are either abruptly dropped (The Spot), or improperly prepared (Miguel O'Hara). Girl, Interrupted 1999
The last fifteen minutes of this film tanked it for me, in a really disappointing way. I was genuinely really engaged by it up until that point. Disappointingly melodramatic and nonsensical, but there's far too much great work and nuanced portrayal of mental health services in the first 90 minutes for a bad ending to completely ruin it.

Here's something crazy. Íngrid Olderöck has a Spanish language Wikipedia page, but not an English language one. Weird. Googling her name comes up with almost no English language entries. So weird.
