Drea outs Eleanor as a lesbian and makes up a fake story of her being predatory and yet they end up the movie as besties. They completely ignore this to focus on liberal girlboss destroying the male antagonist, why is targeted homophobia just glossed over? It created the entire path the character is on, but they just leave it uncomplete? It just feels wrong and off-putting to me. Adding on to the fact that the first half is just a euphoria rip-off where the gay relationship between the main characters never starts.
