    i received "house of psychotic women" by kier-la janisse for my birthday and i am beginning my watch-along with this. more than anything, this is a pleasant time capsule, of a time when self-funding your deranged passions had some hope of one day breaking even or making profit rather than just being an exercise in washing pennies down the drain. and also a time when a film festival was a bunch of fuckin cinephile nerds crammed in a dark room together although the bureaucracy was already creeping in. always enjoy a sparse lo fi doc! always enjoy a deranged woman with intense passions!

    centres on a donkey, sees through the eyes of a donkey, but the donkey is aggressively anthropomorphised so we're actually just looking at the cyncial perception of humankind as more senseless, more violent than the animal kingdom....refracted through donkey vision. its like this guy never saw le quattro volte! also irritating that the aspect ratio ensured minimum engagement in any good looking shots
