  Watched at BFI London Film Festival 2021 
  Introduced by Virginie Efira.

  This had no business being this funny. Definitely watching it in a cinema made the whole experience better. The acting was really good as well as dialogues. 

  Wish they would have kept some twist for the end without giving everything away so quickly.

  In terms of religious drama Saint Maude is still undefeated. Has to be said that I think of Benedetta more as a religious-erotic-dark-comedy tho

  This movie was the depiction of performative activism. Feels like Amy Poehler discovered feminism and the song Rebel Girl by Bikini Kill a year ago and wanted to let everyone know. But let's break it down, shall we?
