Missing Movies, a non-profit organization, was founded in 2022 to help publicize the problem of films that are unavailable (legally) to the general public because of rights/clearances, materials, or "distributor indifference." We have chosen our top 101 (mostly North American) films that we hope will become more readily available this year. This is not a definitive list since films are continuously being discovered and released by companies such as Criterion, Kino Lorber, Milestone, Strand, Flicker Alley, Kanopy, and others, but we are publishing this list to start the conversation.
