i love a good theater experience and i love a good audience so i'm just going to give a shoutout to the 9:40 pm showing of this. there were a handful of people absolutely tickled by this film, and they laughed at every beat, and it was so joyous. whoever was snapping really resonated with me as well.

this film proves that there is a necessity for affirmative and righteously fun narratives centered around women (yes! women!!!), and there is also the space for it. Anne Hathaway has so much fun; i will readily watch any number of films starring Daphne Kluger. i wish Soderbergh had been on this one, because Logan Lucky had that much more of a bite to bark back at the conventional routine of expected plot, but i'm just glad this film exists at all, and i am Very Excited for Ocean's 9.
