I liked Maisie, I liked some story beats, that's all. Can't stand this style anymore, it really gets on my nerves how 95% of big-budget animation movies look like this. It's just tired at this point.

What's not to love? The Dark Shark prank could've made it to Forever and it would've been my favorite of the bunch, so fucking funny

Grizzly Man 2005
Very weirded out by this one. Herzog is not my favorite filmmaker, not by a long shot, but his commitment to his themes and beliefs about life and film comes through in his movies in a really fascinating way that makes his work always entertaining and watchable.

Lightyear 2022
Looks amazing and it makes me sad that so much artistry went into making all of these visuals only to serve this absolutely nothing of a script.
Buzz is the most boring Pixar lead ever, too. I can barely comprehend how they came up with such a humorless, uninteresting character out of someone that is supposed to be a space hero that kids would think is cool. A layup if I've ever seen one and instead they go for the sad sack existential thing instead... yikes

Stillwater 2021
Feels like those movies from back in the day that you'd find late at night while flipping channels, Matt Damon is in it so you give it a chance and it's actually great! Can't remember the last of its kind I've watched.
It's a very straightforward movie but Marseille and Matt Damon really elevate it. Among his best performances as far as I'm concerned!
