PTA Ranked

This was suggested by Siegel as a part of the film of the week for the Film Club. Follow him. He's pretty cool.

By far, Paul Thomas Anderson's most self indulgent piece of his filmography and that's something I never thought I would say that about his work because they never have felt like from what I've seen. Yes, the choreo is beautiful (as is the cinematography) and the songs playing in the background sound soothing, but I couldn't really get a firm understanding of what was trying to be said because I was often put off by the dancing and I struggle to find the meaning in any dance piece, not just this, so it also may not be at fault of the film, just one of my own.

Every piece of filmmaking is sound as expected with PTA, but it didn't resonate with me.

Still a good pick! Thanks for the two, Siegel! Let's see what's next!
