Matt Lavender’s review published on Letterboxd:
Thought I'd check in on Mr Babadook again. Kids are terrible and so is the weirdo in the top hat. So atmospheric and tense and downright unsettling at times. Shot in perfect grey depression-vision. Gets a little bit hammy in terms of acting towards the end and sort of messy like the movie itself doesn't know what's going on but it's so layered in stuff about mental health and trauma. I think the very end is great, I read it as all about nurturing feelings healthily rather than trying to bury them. Think it's really deserving of its instant classic status.
