Life of Pi 2012
I thought this was based on a true story but that was very apparently false once the animals came in.
Has some good visuals, but not frequent nor amazing enough to make up for the substandard plot.
I enjoyed the thought provoking meerkat-related stuff.

The Shawshank Redemption 1994
I had to look up if this was a true story after watching (it's not). Sad thing is I bet this movie makes prison look a lot better than it is in reality, and this movie made prison look awful.
The hype around this movie is well deserved.
