This movie is part of my bones, my DNA, and my soul. Every aspect of this is perfect: the cast, the production design, the costumes, the score, the cinematography, the editing…all of it. It’s why I love movies and believe in the magic of this art form.

Iliza and Margaret Cho were pretty good, but everything else was just…fine? The whole courtroom finale felt really out of place, and the cuts back to her standup performances didn’t add that much either. And some of the dialogue/the “message” seemed a little heavy handed at times.
This has NO RIGHT to be as good as it is. It’s so funny?? Robert Buckley and Jonathan Bennett are fantastic as the brothers. Better than the first because they don’t have to spend so much time setting up the relationships and the central love interest.
Do I love Hallmark Christmas movies now??
